Hello Everyone,
My name is Murphy and I’m 12 pounds of outgoingness, exuberance, and affection in a little bichon bundle – a happy, sweet, playful and very lucky little guy of three. Let’s start with why I’m so lucky.
Until recently I was living in a shelter with lots of other dogs and some were pretty mean to me. I got hurt and was sad. I began to think that things weren’t ever going to get better. But guess what? My Aunties at Bichon FurKids found me and that’s when my luck changed for good! I became a FurKid. Now I have a great foster Mom and a bunch of doggy foster brothers. I’m part of all the action in the family. I get to go on long walks and short walks and to run and play. (Tug-of-war and chase are my favorites.) While I’m good at the chase, I’m working on the ‘bring it back’ part. (Mom’s so good at it that I don’t want to hurt her feelings. Silly me!)
Mom calls me “cuteness personified” and says I remind her of a puppy. I do this thing where I look at her very intently with my big brown eyes and she melts! (Not really, but she always gets a treat for me when I do that) I also balance on my hind legs to get closer and closer. That means even more pets and hugs and shows how smart I am!
My Aunties want you to know that I’m housebroken, working on my commands and that I’m also calm in the car. I want to add that I love being a part of all the things that bichons like to do. Besides all of these things I help to observe Mom cooking, working on her computer, reading books and watching TV. I’m just a grate (and grateful) companion.
