My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Sunny. I’m a wonder-cat! I am the sweetest and most affectionate girl you’ll ever meet. In addition to being gorgeous, I have a personality that can't be beat. I have a friendly, loving character and I can charm the socks off of anyone. I use a litterbox like a good girl. I am about 4-5 years old, very well mannered and VERY smart. I enjoy lounging around with my humans, watching TV and playing with my toys. When my people come home after a long day at work, I love to run to them and talk to them about my day! Then we snuggle. I demand belly rubs and we get to cozy up on the couch together. I’m a super easy going, mellow girl. My foster humans have even started teaching me some fun new things, like coming when called, staying and waiting for doors to open and close (without me running in or out of any rooms), and also how to meet new kitties. I’m always learning new things and just want to spend time with my people. If you’re looking for a great cat to fill your life with joy and lots of snuggles, then I’m your perfect match. I will give you all the love in the world. All I ask in return is that you give me a forever home where I will always be hugged and loved for life! Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
