My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

See Allie and her best friend Holly playing and being adorably cute in this video:

Allie is one of our sponsored dogs. So is her best friend, Holly. We have a wonderful donor who is willing to pay almost all of her adoption donation. (Allie's adopter only will need to donate a $25 adoption fee.) This generous donor has offered to do this because he knows that the majority of animals in the LA Shelters are Chihuahuas and Chihuahua-mixes, pit bulls and pit bull mixes and adult cats.

Allie is a Chihuahua-Dachshund mix and he wants to encourage people to adopt this lovely mutt mix. Adorable Allie is a little ball of energy, a total sweetheart and a very funny little clown who makes us laugh every day. She loves to go on walks and would make a great running/hiking/walking partner even with her short legs. She’s a bit shy with stranger, but once she knows you, she LOVES you. It is adorable!

At home she loves to play with all her favorite toys, fetch whatever, sit in her foster mom’s lap and sleep under the covers with her. She is a healthy 12 pound Chi-Weenie and about four years old.

See her play in her video: http://youtu.be/OhyeI7adfHE

Allie is housebroken and crate-trained. She's very obedient, good with other dogs, cats and kids but will do best in a home with children older than seven and with a canine playmate. Speaking of playmates, her best friend is Holly, who is also available for adoption. They're inseparable and lean on each other for support. If you can open your hearts and home to this bonded pair, you'll be blessed with double love, double laughter and double kisses. And, their adoption donation would be $25 since we have a generous donor who has offered to sponsor them. Please also be sure to check out Holly's bio.

We have also posted pictures of Holly and Allie together within Allie's write-up. If you would like to meet Allie (and possibly her BFF Holly), please go to The Rescue Train website and fill out an application. Thank you so much!!
