Lena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lena's Story...
Lena is a tiny little 8.8 pd girl who was recently retired as puppy mil al breeder. She has a sweet loving personality, her little tail never stops wagging. Lena loves to sit on your lap and be petted but she does have some affects from being in a puppy mill for her entire life, she sometimes walks in circle's, she is a little timid with people, she is still learning about housebreaking although she is making progress. Lena has been spayed, had a dental, is hw negative, has all shots, is lymes neg., and loves the company of other pets. We would prefer to place her with a family that has experience with puppy mill or timid dogs and would like a home with a fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lena, a Freedom Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Freedom, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Freedom.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freedom already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freedom breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freedom paves the way for another one to be saved.
