Spanky's Story...
"Spanky" is a cute 6-month old male Terrier mix who was surrendered by his owner on June 10, 2016 along with "Spot" (who happens to be his beautiful sister). "Spanky" has a white short smooth coat with patches of black, a long tail, and an adorable black-and-white face which is symmetrically marked. "Spanky" has the cutest pink-and-black nose :) This little playboy has a friendly, outgoing personality and is full of youthful puppy-like energy. He and his sister are sharing a kennel and love to romp/play before settling down for a group nap. "Spanky" is a petite little man who weighs 14.6 lbs. We'd love to see this brother-sister duo adopted as a pair :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spanky, a Marietta Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
