Posted 6/14/16. Olga, about 4 years old, is one of the 82 dogs that were seized from a hoarder by a local humane society. Just like all the other pups, Olga was severely neglected and she was used for breeding. The poor sweetie lived in extremely filthy conditions and when we took her in she was covered with flees and ticks. Thankfully our wonderful veterinarian kept her at her clinic for two weeks to make sure she was looked over thoroughly, treated for parasites and undergoing test and procedures as needed. After two weeks with Dr. Harris Olga was ready to go to her foster home. Olga has recovered very well and is now ready for a loving forever home. Olga is very very cute, she is very sweet and affectionate and overall a very well behaved pup. Amazing considering what she had to endure. Olga gets along great with other dogs, she has a very docile and submissive nature. Her nipples are still kind of big but will go back to normal size over time. For Olga we are looking for a home where she will receive a lot of individual attention, affection and fun time! Securely fenced in yard is a plus. Olga is spayed, she is current on vaccinations including Rabies, she tested negative for heartworm and she is on heartworm/flea prevention. If you are interested in giving this very sweet pup a loving forever home please fill out an adoption application on our web site (an application must be filled out prior to setting up a meeting.)
Olga's adoption fee is $175.

About The Nest

About Our Rescue Group...

The Nest,is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. Our mission is to rescue, restore, and re-home animals that come from local animal shelters or from individuals who contact us directly.

We are guided by the following ideals:

We will always place the physical and mental well-being of our animals above our own and that of other individuals, making a constant effort to act as an advocate for the animals we serve.

We will to the best of our ability assist in the care and placement of animals that require our assistance, regardless of breed, age, demeanor, physical or behavioral health, because we believe that all animals at any stage in life and health have inherent value and an important place in the world in which we all live.

We will provide educational support for those individuals who seek our assistance, believing that educating the public is one of the keys to keeping animals in their homes and preventing senseless euthanasia.

We will provide ongoing care and homes for animals we cannot place in adoptive homes, because we believe that animals that make their way to The Nest should be cared for until their last days.
