My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

sweet & gentle

Please meet Poppy, the sweet and gentle tripod Havanese / Maltese mix, neutered male, approximately 2 years old, microchipped, and up to date with all of his vaccines.

Poppy is such a joy to be around, so full of life, loving and well behaved around adults, children and other dogs. He is cautious around cats and doesn’t get too close.

He has come halfway around the world in search of a safe and loving forever home. Poppy was found injured on the streets of Tehran with his front leg crushed probably by a car. He was taken to the vet where they took care of him but they had to amputate the injured leg.

He loves going on walks, outings, meeting new people and dogs, and getting lots of attention. At home he is polite, non-destructive and house-broken.

He will do best in an active home where he can get his regular daily exercise.
**Regular grooming strongly suggested
