I’m a stunning Hemingway Polydactyl cat with handsome orange tabby markings. I have 7 toes on each of my front paws and 5 toes on each of my back paws. Aren’t I awesome? And, you know what they say about polydactyl cats, don't you? We are known as the most docile and gentle of the domestic cats. And I am no exception. I am a wonderful cat, loving, sweet, affectionate, calm and soft natured. I love people. I like to play and I love to cuddle. I'm a 4-year-old, neutered male. I use a litterbox like a good boy. From noon to 4 p.m. on the fourth Sunday each month, come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Event dates for 2016: July 24, August 28, September 25, October 23, November 27 and December 18.
Saturday, August 6: Adoption Event at Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd). From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Adoption event dates for 2016: August 6, August 20, September 3, September 17, October 1, October 15, November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 17.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
