Bailey's Info...

I am already neutered and housetrained.

Bailey's Story...
Breed: Mom is a lionhead, but these guys don't have the lionhead hair. That may develop in the future but they may end up being short haired.
Size: Mom is about 4 pounds, these guys will average around that
DOB: 5/1/16
Reason in Rescue: Mom Guinevere came in here after being trapped as a stray bunny running loose outside. After about a week, she gave birth to 6 babies!
Personality: Bailey is a very sweet boy. He likes attention and people and loves to run around and play! He is very well litter box trained.
Friends: Bailey would be a good candidate to be adopted as a buddy for a spayed female, or he can live as a single bunny.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2'). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes his neuter and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Edinburg Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in Edinburg, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in Edinburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edinburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edinburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edinburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
