Gigi's Story...
Gigi was left behind by her owner and this family held on to her as long as they could. They contacted the rescue for help, and when we met Gigi, we knew we had to help. She is a probably around 3 yrs old and weighs around 50 pounds. She has a gentle, calm, quiet spirit about her. She is potty trained and crate trained. She gets along with other dogs with a proper intro. She likes to snuggle and is just a lovebug of a dog. She has nice leash manners and likes to walk. If you are interested in adopting Gigi, let us know!!

As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip (with lifetime registration), and be spayed/neutered. If the dog is not spayed or neutered at time of adoption, the adopter will be responsible to transport the dog, to and from dropoff/pickup point. Each dog will receive 6 mths of heartworm preventative medication. You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, and a gift card from Choice Pet Market. Each of our dogs comes with 4 training classes that are mandatory to attend. These classes take place at Choice Pet Market in Chandler on a Tues or Wed evening from 6-7 pm, and will be scheduled after adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gigi, a Chandler Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Chandler, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Chandler.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chandler already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chandler breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chandler paves the way for another one to be saved.
