My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOSTER LOCATION: Caldwell, ID

Cocoa is a darling 7 month old Pomeranian and silky terrier mix. When her owner realized that a puppy is a lot of work and they didn’t want to put in the time/effort. Fuzzy Pawz Rescue placed her into a foster home and she is thriving.

Cocoa is a very sweet girl who loves to give kisses, snuggle and have some cuddle time. But she is also very playful and excited about life! She gets along great with humans of all ages and loves the preteen kids in her foster home.

Cocoa loves to play with other dogs and would do best with a playmate close to her size and age she can play with. When left alone and bored she can be destructive and will chew on furniture and remote controls. She will also dig in the yard when alone. But when she has a playmate she has none of those behaviors.

She is trained to use a doggy door and is reliable with the door, without one she still has some accidents in the house. Consistency, patience and a little bit of time will fix this. Cocoa is currently being kenneled when her foster family is not home so there are no accidents in the house. She is a very smart girl, eager to please and learns quickly!

PLEASE remember that while puppies are super cute and fun they are also a LOT of work. Cocoa will need to be house trained, continued socialization with other dogs, strangers, etc as she grows. Adopting a puppy is a huge commitment; if you aren't prepared to put in the time, energy and money then please consider an adult dog.

Cocoa will do best with a family fully, a family with energy and love because she has a ton of both. She would love to attend a puppy class – it’s a great way not only for her to learn but for her to bond with her family.

If you are looking for a lovely little girl who can offer a lifetime of kisses then Cocoa is the one for you just fill out an application today at http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ and her foster parent will call you!!

Cocoa is microchipped, spayed and vaccinated.

There is a $150 adoption fee for Cocoa
