Aiden - Adopted January 2017's Story...
Adopted - January 2017

We’re the PS Gang!

I’m Aiden and I am an 8 month old (born approx. end April 2016) Male Black Kitten with frosted tips in my fur. I am house trained, up to date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Myself and my two brothers Brodie & Coby (Coby is my litter brother and we call Brodie our brother too cuz we grew up together but he’s two weeks older then us with different parents) were living on the streets in Parry Sound. A real kind man was doing his best to take care of us. We were quite the handful cuz there was over 10 of us so he asked for some help. Muskoka Animal Rescue and an awesome vet in town came to our rescue!

I’m a really fun guy to hand out with!

Now we are living the high life! We are inside with air conditioning, water, and food! Lots and lots of glorious food! Me and my bros had a chat and even though we miss some of the other kids in the group (it’s ok tho cuz they are inside and taken care of too) we decided that we NEVER want to live on the streets again and are really looking forward to having a forever home!

*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aiden - Adopted January 2017, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
