Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Copper is a 9 year old, 31 pound Beagle. This little gentlemen is good with everyone he meets. Copper greets everyone with his tail up and wagging his whole back end. He walks nicely on a leash and is house trained. Copper loves exploring his yard and cuddling with his foster parents. He is an easy going guy. No crate is ever needed. Copper will be happily waiting for you when you get home and your house will look the same as when you left. A bonus is that unlike most Beagles, Copper doesn’t bark much at all. He is a calm dog. His favorite spot is curled up beside you. Copper does love walks, between a half mile and a mile. He is a dog park dog and polite with others.
Copper ended up in rescue because his people failed him. His former people had him since he was a pup, moved and didn’t take him with. It’s gets worse, they dumped him at a kill shelter. Who does that??? Copper was very happy to be sprung from the cage and back in a home. If you return his unconditional love he will be a wonderful member of your family.
He would be a wonderful companion to someone who works from home, works part time, or is retired because his favorite place is wherever his people are.
Copper is neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on his shots, Heartworm tested and has had his teeth cleaned.
