Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello World!
My name is Bijou and I’m a handsome and delightful little bichon of six with TONS of personality! (I’m not bragging, honest! That’s what my Mom tells me all the time!) Dad says I’m so happy that I smile a lot – and when I do, I light up the room! Besides being handsome, delightful and small (12 pounds), I’m also adorable, affectionate and want to please! Sound good? Then please read on!
Grandma says to tell you that I’m a bit of an explorer (I want to see what is happening in the world around me) and love rides in the car (I’d really like to drive but she says I’m not big enough yet.) I’m also known to be a real gentleman and am very polite.
There is no doubt that I get along with people of all sizes and shapes. And I pay very close attention to what everyone is saying and doing. Dad says I’m kind and try hard to do everything right and to please you. I’m basically a quiet little snuggle bug who thrives on love. Speaking of which, Mom says I love to be with people more than anything else! Grown-ups are the best and I’m always happy to meet new ones. I’m so well behaved that people like to have me around. (I, of course, never resist a chance to make friends or find a friendly lap for a cuddle!)
Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa and all my BFK Aunties think I’m pretty special. I’m special in another way, too. You see I was born with something called an enlarged heart. That means I have to be careful not to exert myself by running, walking too far or getting crazy with other dogs. Somehow, even though I’m a youngster, I seem to know all that and am wise beyond my years. So I take short walks – and long cuddles! I live each and every day to the fullest and am so grateful to be in a loving foster home.
What I’m looking for now is my forever home, with an adult or two, where I could be the only furkid (being around other pups gets me too excited and that is not good for my heart.) I’m small and portable, not to mention sweet and adorable--- and there is no one who will love and appreciate you more than I would, I promise! So, if you’re interested in a darling little boy who will snuggle his way into your heart, ask for nothing more than love and companionship in return, please ask for me as I’ll be waiting!
Tail Wags and kisses,
Bijou the Bandit (‘cause I’ll steal your heart)
