Chachi's Story...
Chachi is a 1 year old (DOB 10/2015) Cattle dog mix with the coolest wirey hair! She LOVES other dogs of all sizes and likes to play hard. She currently participates in daycare daily and loves it! Chachi was pulled from a local shelter when she was placed on the kill list at 5 months old. Chachi is finally understanding that humans don't mean pain, they don't mean neglect. She is learning that humans mean love, food, nurturing, hotdogs and belonging. She will need someone with patience, as new situations make her a little nervous. She is a total love bug once she's comfortable.

If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org & click on "adoption process" to fill out an application! Adoption fee for pups up to 2 years of age is $250, 2+ years is $225, & giant breeds is $350 - this covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, heartworm test (if old enough to be tested & treatment if necessary), and spay/neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chachi, a Mooresville Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Mooresville, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Mooresville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mooresville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mooresville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mooresville paves the way for another one to be saved.
