If you're searching for the most devoted and loving best friend ever....Coby is the pup you want to have around! Coby, at just 9 - 12 months old and a petite 10 - 12 lbs, is just naturally a lover ....when he looks at you with those dark, expressive eyes and sweet smile, your heart just has to melt. Coby is a truly beautiful Tibetan Terrier mixed with a tiny Terrier with all the traits that make these very smart and personality-plus dogs one of the most popular breed mixes around.
Coby enjoys his time with his foster mom so much that he joins her just about everywhere she goes...it's so important to Coby to be a true best friend! He loves his people more than anything and would definitely win a lap-dog award. Coby cuddles close on the couch with his beautiful head draped over his favorite person's leg...an occasional kiss from Coby is inevitable. He's a sensitive guy and derives so much joy from his time spent with kind, dog-loving people.
Coby is a young, healthy guy who will love his family with all his heart. He would enjoy another kind and gentle dog to play with and then would love nothing more than to lie in the sunshine enjoying a beautiful day. Coby would have so much fun exploring and taking long walks along the Colorado trails. He is always open to new activities...just say the word and up he jumps for a car ride or just a sociable walk around the neighborhood.

Coby is a stunning Tibetan Terrier mix (or so he's been identified by the Texas vets) with a beautiful face and the prettiest eyes ever. He's 9 months old, weighs approximately 10 lbs and just gets smarter and more engaging every single day.
Coby is an extremely affectionate and loving dog! I would love to see him in a home with a family (older kids preferred so there's no tail-pulling) or active retirees who have the time (maybe a positive reinforcement group class?) and love for a very loyal and kind dog. I'd hate to see Coby left alone all day while his family works full-time. I think he's too sensitive for that. He's such an amazing dog and just the right size and temperament to accompany his people just about anywhere.
Farfel's Rescue would like to see Coby in a home where he'll get consistent stimulation, exercise and tons of hugs. A continuing group training class promotes great behavior and confidence for a young pup just learning about the world.
Coby is a non-shedding or lightly shedding pup. He will therefore require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep his amazing coat (with the coolest markings ever) cottony-soft and matt-free.
We're requested that Coby be neutered prior to his transport to Denver. We're not optimistic that this will occur. If it doesn't...Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for Coby's neuter and microchip if our Denver area vet is used.
