My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Elsa and I am a sweet beagle princess that needs to find a new home. I am approx. 2 yrs. old and was surrendered to a high kill shelter in South Carolina. I don’t know why my family didn’t want me anymore, but as my final days at the shelter were drawing near, the reason for my surrender became less important to me. The most important thing was for me to find a way out of the shelter. My guardian angel was watching over me the day Penny Angels said that they could help me find another home. A nice PABR volunteer agreed to foster me until there was room for me in Rescue. I have been in my foster home for over a week now and will be traveling to Penny Angels on July 9. I am in excellent health and am currently available for adoption.

My foster mom took wonderful care of me and even had some flattering things to say about me! I played with her animals and got along with everyone….cats and dogs alike! I was great with kids, too! I got to experience so many ‘firsts’ in my foster home. To begin with, I spent time at a lake, checked out the dock, and learned the fine art of sand-digging in search of a buried treasure. I didn’t find any treasure, but did manage to get my nose full of sand, and I didn’t even mind! I got to ‘chill’ in the grass and share life stories with my new best doggie ‘buddies’. I shared my toys with my doggie friends and they shared their toys with me as well! It is so great when everyone gets along! I took a nice snooze with my buddy during a car ride, enjoyed many walks while wearing my pretty pink harness, and learned how to use a doggie door. My foster mom even took me on a glamour photo shoot! So much excitement in such a short period of time! Soon, I will be looking to share even more experiences with my forever family!

My foster mom said that I have manners like a princess and am just about as perfect as you can get! How can you resist my charms? I love to play, fetch, hang in the yard, and go for walks. I don’t chew, dig, or climb. If you are looking for a fun, happy, affectionate, and well-mannered gal, well look no further because I am all those things wrapped up into a cute, 20 lb., little package. Another girl like me will be hard to find, so if you are interested in starting your next adventure with me, please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels.

An adoption application for Elsa can be obtained by visiting our web site at www.pennyangelsbeaglerescue.com. If you have any questions, please contact beagler534@comcast.net or emnase@aol.com, or call Penny Angels Beagle Rescue at 609-965-9476. Thank you!
