Todd's Story...
Todd is a 2 year old gentleman who is completely potty trained and crate trained. He seems to get along with female dogs right away, but needs a slow introduction with male dogs. (He's currently in a foster home and is a little reactive with one of the male fosters but does not react to the other one, so he may be selective with his male friends). Todd LOVES a ball! He really loves running and fetching it! He also is very treat motivated and a HUGE sucker for head rubs! Todd is very playful, but not in a hyper "puppy stage" way, he calms down fast once playtime is over. His foster mom says he is overall a real pleasure to be around, very easy going, and does great on the leash! His foster mom is working on basic commands such as "sit", "down," etc. right now. He is not a barker either! Todd has a voice but only seems to use it when necessary, i.e. when somebody is at the door or if he needs to go outside.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Todd, a Sanford Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Sanford, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sanford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sanford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sanford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sanford paves the way for another one to be saved.
