My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Twix!
A fun loving, 13lb, 4yo, Jack Russell Terrier mix who loves affection!

Twix is anxious to learn and willing to please. He loves practicing his new skills. Twix has mastered sit, shake, paw, spin and high-five! Twix enjoys belly and back rubs and nice quiet walks. He also won't pass up game a fetch with a plush toy or tennis ball.

Twix does best with kids 12 and up and gets along with nonreactive dogs.
He is crate trained and beautifully housetrained. He has no medical issues, is up to date with his immunizations. Twix is microchipped and receives preventative care for heartworm and flea/tick on a monthly basis.

Twix is looking for someone to continue his training. Twix's new family's first priority should be to work on proper introductions to other dogs and visitors. Twix is searching for an adopter that will provide him structure and guidance. Are you the one he's searching for?

If you are interested in finding out more about Twix, please fill out an application.

Twix is being fostered in Worcester.

The adoption fee is $350

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
