My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Chantel (“singer” in French), which fits me because I am one talkative kitty! I’m a four-year-old spayed calico with an affectionate and calm personality. I had a hard life on the streets until I was rescued by my foster parents. Now I do my favorite activity all the time: napping on laps! I love cuddling in bed and getting belly rubs.

When I was homeless, I may have gotten in a cat fight, so I’m a bit scared of other cats. I can live with other pets as long as my new humans are patient. I also picked up something called Feline Herpes virus, which causes my left eye to get puffy if I'm under a lot of stress. It doesn't require any medication once I'm comfortable in a stable home. I have a lazy third eyelid, but the vet checked it out and it doesn’t bother me at all. I adore people can’t wait to meet my new family.
