Chantel's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Chantel's Story...
My name is Chantel (“singer” in French), which fits me because I am one talkative kitty! I’m a four-year-old spayed calico with an affectionate and calm personality. I had a hard life on the streets until I was rescued by my foster parents. Now I do my favorite activity all the time: napping on laps! I love cuddling in bed and getting belly rubs.

When I was homeless, I may have gotten in a cat fight, so I’m a bit scared of other cats. I can live with other pets as long as my new humans are patient. I also picked up something called Feline Herpes virus, which causes my left eye to get puffy if I'm under a lot of stress. It doesn't require any medication once I'm comfortable in a stable home. I have a lazy third eyelid, but the vet checked it out and it doesn’t bother me at all. I adore people can’t wait to meet my new family. Contact my foster parents at 856.361.8459 and let them know you are interested in meeting - and hopefully - adopting me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chantel, a Cherry Hill Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cherry Hill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cherry Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cherry Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cherry Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cherry Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
