Elijah is one of those animals who touches the heart and soul of everyone he meets. Often the first glance at him puts people off until they look again and see the bright, shining, peaceful soul that resides in the amazing cat.
Elijah is about 7 years old and was found as a stray out in Emmett. He was in really bad shape with crusted over eyes, raw and bloody ears and he was thin as a rail. The finder called Fuzzy Pawz and asked us to help and how could we say no to this lost soul with such a strong will to live.
Turns out Elijah had cancer that was eating away his ears (very common in white cats) and he had damaged his eyes trying to scratch at his ears. Surgery, medication, lots of trips to the vet and of course good food and LOTS of love and Elijah is now cancer free, healthy, happy and just a love!
Despite all this boy has been through he is just the happiest, most easy going cat you will meet. He’s never met a stranger, he loves everyone – he knows they will pet him, cuddle him and give him treats. Elijah’s favorite thing in the world is to sit in your lap and purr (and drool a little); he is just a love. He is gentle, has a soft personality and you can’t help but smile when he looks at you with those trusting eyes.
Elijah is good with other cats and we think he would be fine with cat friendly dogs with a proper introduction.
This is one exceptional boy who will repay and family with many, many years of joy, happiness and kitty cuddles! You truly could not ask for a pet companion in your life.
