Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy is a joyous, playful and friendly, eight-year-old, 39-pound, female Beagle / Basset Hound-mix looking for a loving guardian. This girl loves to go on walks and car rides, knows the command sit, crate-trained and housebroken when kept on a very frequent schedule. She gets along with other dogs and people of all ages – she loves children, but she is way too interested in cats and other small creatures; she’s quite the hunter! She’s active and fun; Daisy loves to chase a ball, and sometimes she’ll even retrieve.
Daisy had breast cancer surgery in February and was spayed. She never skipped a beat and was full of tail wags and kisses the moment she came home. She is healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, fecal and heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative.
To meet and possibly foster and/or adopt Daisy, please contact Sheri directly at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. She is currently being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. Her adoption fee of $225 benefits rescued pets. She probably would do best in a house, versus an apartment because she is a hound with quite the howl.
