Fitzgeral's Story...
Fitzgerald, or Fitz as we affectionately call him, is a 2-4 year old male pit bull looking for his forever home. Fitz first entered our program in June after being dragged down the highway from the truck he jumped from. While the incident was an accident, the person driving the truck decided they could not keep him and surrendered him to a clinic - where he then entered our program.

Several months later and Fitz has been neutered and has majorly healed from his extensive road rash. He is undergoing heartworm treatment (covered by rescue) and his personality has truly begun to blossom!

Fitz is social with other animals, sweet with people, kennel trained, and potty trained. He has done well in both foster homes he has been placed in and is ready for a forever home to call his own. We love Fitz, how about you??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fitzgeral, a College Station Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in College Station, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in College Station.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in College Station already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a College Station breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in College Station paves the way for another one to be saved.
