Steve's Story...
Hello!! The name is Steve! I was brought to the shelter in 2007 as a stray and have sort of been bounced from house to house. The last place I was at was for three years! I has some issues using the box though so they had to bring me back. I am a dominant male who likes to mark his territory so I would prefer to be the only fur-child in the home as I am an attention snob. I would love to go somewhere where I can get lots of play time and a sunny window to lay in. If I sound like a match come and see me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steve, a Denver Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
