Nova's Story...
Sweet Nova is believed to be a Poodle/Pitbull mix (Yes, we're serious!). She is a sweetheart and is on the lookout for her forever home! Nova is a healthy ball of energy with some super laid back qualities. She gets along with her foster siblings (an 11 year old and 3 year old) perfectly. Crate trained like a champ, sleeps through the night with no issue and mastering her potty training. Very smart young lady. Figured out the 'sit' command in a matter of hours. Gets a little weird around cars on her walks and perhaps a bit car sick now and again, but getting better each time we venture out. She tries to play with our 15 year old cat but is nothing more than curious. Such a sweet soul. Great with kids as well and socialized at doggie daycare. She loves to play fetch and enjoys nice warm bath.

If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org & click on "adoption process" to fill out an application! Adoption fee for pups up to 2 years of age is $250, 2+ years is $225, & giant breeds is $350 - this covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, heartworm test (if old enough to be tested & treatment if necessary), and spay/neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nova, a Charlotte Poodle (Standard)/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Standard)/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Poodle (Standard)/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Standard)/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Poodle (Standard)/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
