Important Note

Dawson is best friends with Dora. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Hi, I'm Dawson. I'm a sweet male tabby that loves to play, especially on your lap and with my sisters. I'm curious about everything but might be a little shy to start. You know you can never be too careful when meeting new people! Just give me a little time and I will be the lap cat you've always wanted.

Dawson is fostered in San Mateo along with his siblings Daphne, Dora and Dharma. He is pictured with Daphne. He would love to be adopted with one of his siblings but if you have another young kitty at home that would be fine too.

Young kittens do best in a home with another young feline companion so if you do not having an existing kitty, please consider adopting a pair of kittens. You will be happy you did! If you would be interested in meeting Dawson, please download an adoption application from our Adopt a Pet homepage and e-mail to

Feel free to contact the Homeless Cat Network Hotline for more information or to schedule a time to meet this wonderful kitty! (phone) 650.286.9013

NOTE: This posting will be deleted if the kitten is no longer available. Due to limited volunteer resources, inquiries without adoption applications cannot be responded to.

About Homeless Cat Network

About Our Rescue Group...

Homeless Cat Network works hard to help cats and kittens in need on the San Francisco Peninsula. We provide advice, support and guidance to people who have found and wish to help community cats, and our volunteers do hands-on rescue work.

Our lifesaving initiatives focus on solving the root problem of cat homelessness and include: TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs for feral cats; kitten rescuing, fostering and adoption efforts; educational outreach; responsible community cat colony management; and mentoring people to help cats in need. We also have a unique Socialization Center, which gives abandoned, abused and neglected adult cats the chance to heal from their emotional and physical wounds and find the home of their dreams. All of our efforts work toward a single goal: to bring about a day when there are no more homeless cats, and with your help, we'll make that dream come true.
