Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi World.
My name is Nomar (but you can call me “Poochie”) and I’m a darling little bichon boy of five. My Mom says I’m 10 ½ pounds of love, rolled up in a very handsome package! She says I’m a master at walking, love to ride in the car (I offered to help her drive but she says she’s fine without my help) and an Olympic class player. Just give me a ball and watch me fetch, let a bird come in the yard and watch me ‘patrol’ – or give me my white wooly stuffed ball (or my soccer ball) and watch me hug it and run with it in my mouth. Mom says it looks like I have a pacifier in my mouth; I say “You know, she’s pretty smart, that Mom of mine. I guess it does look like that!!”
I’m great with kids (and grandkids) and just love all kinds of people. Having people around me all the time is important. If you are reading, making dinner, watching TV or the kids are playing, I want to be there. If someone laughs, I seem to understand; if someone gets hurt, I want to comfort them. Dad says I’m just a natural cuddler and lover, curious about lots of things, happy and affectionate. He says I’m a ‘good man’ to have around ‘cause I want to please and love you.
Before I became a fur kid I lived with my wonderful family in Arizona. I had some allergies there (believe it or not, I’m actually allergic to cats – isn’t that funny – a dog that is actually allergic to cats?!) and so did my human brother. (have allergies, that is.) So I had to leave my family and come to California. Now that I’m here I’ve learned how to play with other bichons and they are kind of neat! I even learned how to do the Bichon Buzz! And I’ve proven that I’m pretty adaptable too- give me a crate, a bed to sleep on, a toy to play with or a person to love – that’s all I need.
Even though I have a great foster home, I’m really looking for my own Forever Family.
I have so much love to give – and am a very entertaining little guy, too. So if you are looking for a handsome, loveable, cuddly, sweet and happy little guy, please complete our application at www.bichonfurkids.org/applications as I’m ready to meet you.
