Tony's Story...
Where is Tony's forever?
Tony has been in our rescue since he was a young kitten. All of his siblings were adopted, and he was passed by. Now at almost a year old, he is still waiting and we are still hoping for him.
Tony is a sweet boy, but more on the reserved side. He doesn't mind other cats and can co-exist with dogs as long as they don't pay much mind to him. Tony is affectionate but will also stay to himself. A home with young loud kids would not be suitable.
We are reducing Tony's adoption fee, he is fully vetted and ready to find his forever.
If you are willing to give Tony the home he very much deserves, please visit and fill out an application to bring Tony home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tony, a New Milford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
