Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tennessee is a sweet, gentle, laid back girl who loves a good belly rub and love and affection from her humans.
Tennessee is a couch potato but she does enjoy going for a ride in the car, a walk in the neighborhood, or just kicking back with the family to watch some TV. She loves to be petted and gets very excited about having her belly rubbed. While she gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, she would also do just fine as an only dog. She has not had any accidents in her foster home but she is let out on a schedule and will not necessarily let you know when she has to go potty.
Tennessee was very scared when she first came into her foster home but has gained a lot of confidence in the couple of weeks she's been with us. She does get startled easily so she'll need a family who will be patient and understanding with her as she adjusts. Like most beagles, Tennessee gets the most excited about food and treats but she's currently a little overweight so her family will need to be careful about what she's fed and not giving into her puppy dog eyes when she wants a treat.
Tennessee has run of the house and is fine being left for a typical work day but she'll definitely give you a very excited and warm greeting once you come back home. She enjoys spending time outside but has a tendency to get a little sunburned on her nose so her time in the bright sun should be minimized in addition to having a little sunblock (made for dogs) on her nose so she doesn't burn.
If you have some time and some extra love and affection for this sweet, southern belle, please give Midwest BREW a call and Tennessee will pay you back in affection tenfold.
