Hi there! My name is Bagheera and I am a sweet, friendly and playful kitten. I was born in the Rescue on June 8, 2016. I have been handled by people since I was born, so I am very people-oriented. I think they're just the best. I have an amazingly colorful coat and very unique markings. I am a very pretty kitten. They call me a torbie, which is a tabby mixed with tortie. I think I am my Momma cat's favorite kitten. Her name is Buttercup. We always lay together and snuggle together. Buttercup took great care of me and my siblings. I am super playful and love all kinds of kitty toys. I also love wrestling with my littermates and climbing on the kitty tower and condo. I use a litterbox like a good little girl. From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Adoption event dates for 2016: August 6, August 20, September 3, September 17, October 1, October 15, November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 17.
Sunday, August 28: Adoption Event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m. on the fourth Sunday each month, come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Event dates for 2016: August 28, September 25, October 23, November 27 and December 18.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
