Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Larkin is a very handsome brindle boxer mix boy that is hoping to shmooze his way into your heart and home. He came to us in September of 2015 when he was found tied to a pole with another dog, abandoned by his owner. Poor Larkin was a bit distraught by the events that transpired and was depressed at first, but once he realized he was now in a good place, he put his past behind him and has been loving life ever since. Larkin is about 3 years old and this handsome boy is gentle, quiet and sweet. He is a little shy when he gets to know you so don't be offended if he barks at you when you pass by him. Only a few minutes of him meeting you will have him standing on his hind legs, giving you a gentle hug and hoping for some attention. Larkin is well behaved and walks like a real gentleman on a leash. He enjoys our exercise yard and will chase after a toy once in a while, but prefers to sit by your side and spend time with you instead. We discovered that he did not care for the dog that he was abandoned with and really is not a big fan of dogs in general, so Larkin must be an only pet. Don't worry....he has plenty of love to give to make up for it and will be your best friend for life if you give him a great home. File#25408 9/2/15
