Babe is a 5 year old GSD that found herself dumped at the shelter when her owner passed away. She was quickly identified for the euthanasia list for medical issues. SPR volunteers determined that this sweet girl was totally confused and needed a way out. Babe has come with indications of some longer term neglected ear injuries and infections, extra long toe nails and open wounds on her legs and paws. She is super friendly and loves to have the attention of anyone who will give it to her. Babe has not shown any reactions to other dogs so far, but we will learn more about her as she spends more time with us. We are looking for a foster home, so if you want to see if Babe might work in your family, consider being a foster-to-adopter.
