Bilbo's Story...
Isn't Bilbo GORGEOUS!! This handsome 1.5 year old Husky is looking for his new fur-ever family, and is sure to quickly win any husky lovers heart over from the moment they meet with him. Bilbo is a super sweet boy with a charming personality. He has been fantastic with the other dogs in our care, and has adored all his visitors- kids included. He enjoys treats, and loves playing with tennis balls. While he could use some reminders, he is fairly good on the leash, knows how to sit, and appears to be housetrained. He does need a home where he will be spending most of his time inside with the people that he loves, and where he can be brushed regularly (he does have a heavy Husky coat). He also is quite the talker, and probably wouldn't do well in an apartment or neighborhood where the houses are close together- the neighbors might not appreciate his singing voice. He would love to be in a multi dog household so that he has a K-9 friend to keep him company when his humans are not home. Bilbo is up to date on his vaccinations, is microchipped, and neutered. Stop by to visit with this handsome boy today! We are open from 12-6 daily!

**It's raining cats and dogs! Join us through Saturday, August 27th, for a $20 adoption special on all cats and dogs!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bilbo, a Benbrook Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
