Hi Everyone!
My name is Emmie and I’m a beautiful and amazingly happy Bichon who is as affectionate as I am adorable. (Now, I’m not bragging! That’s what everyone says about me!) I’m a friendly little girl of 2 1/2 weighing only 12 lbs., with a sweet face to match my sweet spirit! I love to be held, petted and cuddled. And I’m so darn cute that someone is always ready to do just that, thank goodness!
Speaking of things I love, I love to sit on your lap (my foster Dad calls it “open lap season”) and to snuggle (and maybe even catch a few winks.) I also love to go for rides in the car and walks. And I love all the things that little bichons love – like ‘helping’ you to do anything you want to do and keeping you company. Oh and sleeping in the Big People’s bed as close to my Mom and Dad as possible.
In my previous home, there were lots of kids who had lots of things to do and places to go, so I didn’t get very much attention. I’m making up for it now though as a FurKid. Dad says I have a quiet way of just looking at him or Mom with my beautiful brown eyes as if to say, “Don’t you want to pet and cuddle me?” And if that doesn’t work, I’m known to touch Dad with my paw or nudge Mom to say “Remember me!”
There is no doubt that I like to give (and receive) love. Mom says I’m a pretty, feminine and delightful pup who is beautiful, sweet and kind. I am housebroken and am mastering the doggie door (I have the coming in part, and am mastering the going out the door part.)
My BFK Aunties say that I’m attentive and adoring — and that I truly enjoy LIFE. I love humans of all ages, shapes and sizes – from wee people to big people and everything in between.
