Warren is a young (approx age 2) Presa Canario who was rescued by The Bullpen from a high kill shelter in North Carolina. When he arrived at his foster home he was emaciated and loaded with parasites. Warren has since gained weight and continues to fill out. Warren is now being potty trained and learning quickly with next to no accidents - quite impressive for a guy who probably never saw the inside of a house. He is super duper sweet and loves to snuggle, give kisses and go for walks. He is a little timid due to his past life but is quickly learning that there is no need to be afraid and that humans can be trusted. He loves his Mastiff house mates, male and female - and even likes to hang out with the family pot belly pig. He is submissive with other dogs and would very much like to have some doggie companions who would like to play with him. Warren is a special, sensitive guy who is a prime example of how forgiving dogs can be. He is learning basic commands. Warren would make an amazing addition to a home that is looking for love, loyalty and companionship.

The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you’re interested in is a good match.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a “perfect placement” so we know that they will not be failed again.
