My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snow White: 4 year old, Female, White Persian Mix

Courtesy Post: Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Snow White is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with her caretaker in Fremont, CA.

We don’t know a lot about Snow White except that she is very beautiful and very, very sweet. Her caretaker’s husband’s friend found her wandering in his yard not long ago. He is not exactly a cat lover, but realized just how friendly she was. He took her to a shelter to get her scanned for a microchip, which she didn’t have. Then he took her to an adoption event, but of course with kitten season in full swing, everyone wanted a kitten instead of this snow white beauty.

He knew of this kind lady, who became Snow White’s caretaker, and asked if she could take her in. The caretaker cpuld not keep Snow White, because she actually takes care of a colony of cats to the tune of feeding 340 cats at night all by herself…yes, you read that correctly! She contacted our organization to help find a loving home for this loving kitty.

When you go and meet Snow White on the day of her adoption, please give this kind lady a heartfelt thank you and maybe take along a big bag of cat food for the colony she feeds. She is a true kitty saint in my book!

She took Snow White to the vet to have her spayed, dewormed, and microchipped. The vet confirmed that Snow White is a Persian mix and estimated her age to be approx. 4 years. She does not have the typical smooched face of the Persian nor the staining around the eyes, but certainly exhibits the human connected purrsonality of a Persian. Snow White uses her litter box without any issues.

To sum it up, she is a super affectionate cat that would prefer nothing more than being either in someone’s arm or on their lap. She does hiss at kittens and her caretaker has not introduced her to her other cats, so we don’t know how Snow White would behave with other cats. We also don’t know about dogs or small children.

If you would like more information about this lovely beauty, please contact Frauke at 925-784-8244 or loveallcats7@gmail.com or send an Adoption Application.
