Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UNDER SAVING PAWS CARE Meet Sweetie. Sweetie was rescued by a good samaritan after all the craziness of July 4th. Her finder looked tirelessly to find her owner, but suspected that now one was looking for her. She was thin and her coat was not well cared for. She had a mass behind her left shoulder. She was very sweet, so the name stuck! Sweetie is in foster with her finder and living with two other dogs. She can be a little protective of her home when strangers enter, but within a short period she is your friend. Sweetie has been seen by our vet and the great news is that we do not feel this is a cancerous tumor and likely no surgery will be needed! The mass has been treated and now Sweetie has a couple of weeks of antibiotics. Sweetie will need more training as she pulls a little on her leash, but she is an excellent girl in the car and was a perfect “sweetie” at the vet! We don’t have any idea how she would do with cats or kids at this time. Sweetie has gone into heat, so she won’t be available for adoption until she can be spayed safely. If you think you want to wait for this sweet and beautiful girl, fill our adoption application now. Sweetie will be snapped up quickly. As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet & greets with an approved application! Many of our volunteers juggle family, and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
