Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Friday aka Boog. He was pulled from the Fort Worth shelter were they named him Friday, but when he arrived at his foster family’s house they renamed him Boog because his face looks like that of the bear from the kids show Open Season. Boog is super sweet and loves other dogs. He has met several and has not had issue with any, although he likes to play he does not like rough play. Therefore Boog would not make a good companion to a hyper or rambunctious dog. Not sure how he is with cats. On walks he has not reacted to the cats but always wants to chase the rabbits and birds. Boog loves kids, there are several 13 to 18 year olds running in and out of the house all day and he is great with every one of them. Boog is a very well behaved house dog. He can be very mellow in the house, never runs or jumps around (unless the other dog in the house is chewing on his legs to play). He loves attention, to be pet and to be loved. Luckily he knows he is a big dog and will not climb into your lap but a paw or two may end up there when he is begging for attention. With all his hair Boog needs to be a mostly inside dog with some cool shade areas in the backyard for when he is outside. Boog is neutered and current on his vaccination and rabies. Boog is Heartworm Positive and will require monthly treatments. Boog weighs about 100lbs. If you are interested to meet Boog or would like more information please contact us.
