This adorable little guy is Merri, aka Mouse, a 4 year old terrier mix that is searching again for just the right home. Merri is one of more than 30 dogs that came to us in June, 2016 from a terrible hoarding situation where more than 280 dogs resided. He was adopted for many months but was recently returned due to being fearful and nipping at strangers that came to the house (he never actually bit). Merri has been through a lot in his young life, and he will need a very patient and safe home and an understanding owner that will put him safely in a bedroom when guests visit. Even though he is still a little fearful, Merri is an absolute love when he gets to know you. He just eats up attention and nothing makes him happier than to sit cuddled in the arms of someone that loves him. It only takes him a short time to learn to trust you and once he does, he bonds with you immediately. Merri will need a home with no children under 12, but he gets along great with other dogs. He will need an experienced owner with a secure, fenced yard and the patience and understanding to give him the happy life that he deserves. File#26325 5/21/17
