Rolex's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rolex's Story...
I was originally a stray in southern Iowa and was adopted and then the family returned me because I was nipping at the children and my family couldn’t afford to care for my eyes.(they were causing me a lot of pain & that is why I was nipping at the kids).

I was diagnosed with glaucoma in both eyes. My left eye was much worse and it was removed in June 2016. My right eye isn’t as bad and the Doctor thinks we can help it with medication.

I was adopted on July 5 and my people brought me back because I was not being nice to the cat in the house. In addition, they found out that my right eye was in bad shape and was going to need to be removed. It was removed on Tuesday, July 26.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rolex, a Des Moines Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bull Terrier for sale in Des Moines, or seeking a Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Des Moines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Des Moines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Des Moines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bull Terrier breeders who help with Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Des Moines paves the way for another one to be saved.
