Hi guys! My name is Darla. My brother Danny and I were born around late March of this year. We are both up for adoption and looking for loving homes. I'm a long, lean playing machine. I like to call myself a Siamese Russian Blue mix, what do you think? I have beautiful golden eyes and I keep them focused on my brother Danny, so I can pounce on him when he least suspects it. I'm also a big purr machine and I don't mind being held and scratched and cuddled. I am a beautiful little girl who is friendly and playful. I love kitty toys and other cats. In fact, I've never been alone and would do best in a home where I'm not the only feline. I'd love a new home where I could have another kitten or cat to play with and to spend time with. I love companionship! I'm used to cats of various ages and I get along fine with a dog that lives here, too. I use a litterbox 100% of the time like a good little kitten. If you need a new playmate, I'm your girl! I love to chase balls and to play with cat dancer toys - I will keep you entertained and laughing for hours. Just give me a chance. Adoption fee: $100. Adopt a pair: $150. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Adoption event dates for 2016: October 15, November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 17.
Sunday, October 23: Adoption Event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m. on the fourth Sunday each month, come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Event dates for 2016: October 23, November 27 and December 18.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
