My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We can't imagine the heartbreak that Tony felt when her owner passed away and no one was able to take her in. At 7 years old, this sweet and gentle border terrier that spent her entire life in a home with someone that loved her, was now in an unfamiliar place among strangers. She was noticeably depressed at first and it took a little time for Tony to realize that everything would be ok, but now she is happy to be taken care of and loves all of the new friends that she has made. She enjoys going for her daily walks and meeting new people and she is ready to meet her new family that will give her the wonderful home that she deserves. Tony is well behaved and very polite. She takes treats very gently, sits nicely when asked, and is a perfect little lady for a bath. She is mellow and easy going but definitely still has plenty of spunk and enjoys tossing around some toys from time to time. Tony has a mild liver condition that will require a liver-friendly diet so if you're interested in her, our veterinarian will tell you all about it. Tony is just fine with passing by other dogs that she meets and just loves everyone. She is looking forward to the day that she will go off to a new home with a loving family of her own.
