Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lexi has gone back to her rescue in Pennsylvania but is still available for adoption.
A little information about Lexi...
Hi I’m Lexi, a 6 year old Female Min Pin Mix. My owner couldn’t give me the time I need due to some family issues. I’m housebroken, crate trained and even know some commands. My Foster Mom says I’m pretty sweet. I love to cuddle and sleep in bed (I’m small so I won’t take up much room) cause I just want to be around people. I’ve live in a foster home with kids, cats and dogs. I had some dental work done thanks to my amazing rescue so they are all nice and clean. If you are interested in meeting me please go to www.homewardboundct.org/want-to-adopt-a-dog/ and fill out an application today.
If you are interested in this dog or any of our dogs please go to www.homewardboundct.org (copy and paste in browser window) and see all of the dogs coming and also fill out an application).
If you are a first time dog owner we may require a home visit prior to adoption.
If you rent or live in a condo we will require proof that you are able to have a dog. This could be a copy of the lease or condo agreement.
All the residents in the household must come to the event along with any dog in your home for a meet and greet with our trainers.
Per the request of the rescues we may limit adoptions to only Connecticut homes due to the distance and support we give them. This again is strictly the rescues decision and hope you will honor that.
We also require a follow up visit with all families within a couple of months after the adoption.
Since we know there are many questions, please realize we will answer questions of those who have filled out an application first.
Adoption Fee is no more than $385. All dogs will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated to age and also micrcochipped.
If you have additional questions about our dogs feel free to contact us. Please understand that we are all volunteers and will try to get back to you as soon as possible. If it is close to our event we are very busy with pre-screening our applicants so please understand if we can't answer all your questions in a timely manner. Our goal is to make sure these dogs go to the best home possible.
