My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Wiley" is a darling 11-year old male Jack Russell Terrier/Fox Terrier mix who was surrendered by his owner on July 19, 2016. "Wiley" melted many hearts the day he arrived, and he has been acquiring members of his 'fan club' with each passing day that he spends with us :) This sweet little guy has a white-and-tan short smooth coat, a short docked tail, and an adorable face with a long slender muzzle, a black button nose, and large tan folded-over ears. His previous owner told us that "Wiley" is not good with cats. He gets along with female dogs but doesn't get along with all other male dogs. "Wiley" had a large fatty growth on his chest when he was brought to our shelter (which was very obvious in his first photos on July 19th). He underwent surgery on July 28, 2016 and one of our wonderful local veterinarians successfully removed the growth. "Wiley" looked so cute in one of our volunteer t-shirts while he was recuperating :) These updated photos were taken on August 8, 2016 after his incision had healed and he was feeling (and looking) like a new man. "Wiley" is a gentle soul and loves his people friends. He is a fairly small dog who weighs approximately 20-25 lbs. "Wiley" will make someone a wonderful new best friend and companion <3
