My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY POST: Please contact owner directly at jckillen@gmail.com or 817.689.4907 for more information about this dog. Jojo is a gorgeous black and white Shepherd mix who is 7 years old and weighs 60 pounds. She gets along well with adults and children. Jojo is a rescue dog and is wary of strangers, but warms up to people after a good sniff and head rub. She also socializes well with most dogs, but she has shown aggression towards some dogs (no experience with cats). She has been trained with basic commands - but will need reinforcement. Jojo loves to run, fetch, and cuddle. She does not have any health issues other than an ear infection. Our family rescued Jojo 7 years ago and she has been a wonderful family dog. We really hate to see her go, but after adding a newborn and other work responsibilities, we are not able to provide the love and time that she requires. Please contact me at 817.689.4907 or jckillen@gmail.com.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
