Violet (Spayed)'s Story...
"Violet" is a beautiful young adult female Boxer mix who made her debut at the HSOV on August 10, 2016 after she was found in the Little Hocking Ohio area. This little sweetheart has a black short smooth coat with a narrow white stripe on her chest, a long tail, and an adorable face with hopeful trusting eyes and short semi-erect ears. "Violet" has the sweetest disposition and has a loving, affectionate personality. She was the perfect little lady while she had her glamour photos taken. Our staff and volunteers have already fallen in love with this little dollbaby :) "Violet" weighs 51.2 lbs. and isn't a very large girl when you see her in person. She is now available for adoption since she was not reclaimed. "Violet" has been spayed and has also been given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet (Spayed), a Marietta Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
