Lexi's Story...
Lexi is a friendly and wiggly two year old girl who loves her people. She is a shepherd mix who weighs about 40 lbs. Lexi is crate trained, house broken, and walks well with a Gentle Leader. She completed a beginners training course where she learned focus, sit, down, stay, shake, take, leave, and drop; she will also wait to eat until you say her release word. The instructor said she did wonderfully and is ready to start an intermediate course. Lexi loves playing with other dogs, going for walks, playing with toys (especially tennis balls), and cuddling. She sometimes talks in the cutest way when she really wants something. She will make a wonderful addition to an active family and a great running buddy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexi, a White Settlement Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in White Settlement, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in White Settlement.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in White Settlement already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a White Settlement breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in White Settlement paves the way for another one to be saved.
