Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Greetings everyone!
I’m Clancy - a handsome and very likeable Bichon boy of about a year and a half. I have, (well, I had), lovely white hair and apricot tipped ears. (Right now I am a little short on hair, but Mom assures me that it will grow back soon - and I will be as handsome as ever!) I weigh 14 pounds but am still a bit on the lean side.
Mom says that, when I first arrived at my foster home I was terrified! She says I was very scared, protective of my space and, in fact, would only sleep only in the bathroom. In fact the first two nights I was with Mom and Dad, I practically slept standing up. But between Mom, Dad, my foster doggy sisters, friends and their kids, I have learned that there are nice, loving people in this world. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from me! I no longer worry about my survival, have learned to trust -- and can shine my little love light as bright as it will glow.
Dad says that I am learning how to play from watching my foster sisters. I have finally even started to join in their play. I am a little clumsy at it but I’m trying. But gosh, it’s fun.
Before I met Mom and Dad, I had never been to a dog park before. Now that is my favorite place to go! And favorite thing to do except, of course, watching TV (Well I don’t really watch TV but I DO get to snuggle next to Mom or Dad when they watch it) You see, I love to snuggle. And I love people - all people, including kids, and all sizes. I have learned how kind people can be, and now I just want to be near one of them most of the time. These days, the only thing that causes me to jump is the opportunity to get onto Mom and Dad’s bed so that I can sleep close to them.
Mom says I am healthy, endearing and smart. I am housebroken and really clever. Why you know, I figured out that, when my sister leaves her crate, I can usually find a left over chew bone to finish. (Just trying to help her, truly I am!).
I have come a long way since I became a FurKid. I am filled with so much love, light and happiness that I could almost burst. I am ready to share the rest of my life with my Forever Family. If you are looking for a boy who will give you all the love you could ever need, and quite a few kisses, too, please complete our application and ask for Clancy.
