JANET's Story...
Janet is a 2 year old Shepherd/Lab mix. She was found along with her sister Jenny. They have been roaming around the city for awhile along with their mother. Their mother was caught by a local rescue and is in a foster home healing. Before they could come back for the girls they were picked up by us. They have both had litters of pups and are ready for a nice home with lots of love. Janet is a sweet girl that does well on a leash and is potty trained. She gets along with other dogs and kids. She would do best in a home with kids that have been around dogs. The rescue is working along with us to find a foster or adopter for these girls. We would love for them to go to the same home, but is not mandatory. If you would like to meet her please call Kim Lee (972) 632-0331.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JANET, a Pilot Point Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Pilot Point, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Pilot Point.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pilot Point already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pilot Point breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pilot Point paves the way for another one to be saved.
