Roxie's Story...
Roxie is a petite tortie with a cute orange smudge down the bridge of her nose. She came in very skinny and we are trying to help her fill in her frame a little. She was very scared at first, but now has blossomed as she sees that people can be loving and caring.
If you are interested in meeting me I am located at the Petsmart located at 155 East Route 59 in Nanuet, NY. I am current on her vaccinations, parasite-free, neutered, and tested negative for FIV. Adoption hours are on Saturday 12 pm - 4 pm and Sunday 12 am to 4 pm. Please e-mail startkayne@gmail.com or call 201-797-8861 for more information

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
